This fantasy adventure has elements of LOTR, The Hobbit, Elder Scrolls, Harry Potter, and Mad Max, all rolled into a complex post-apocalyptic world 1000 years into the future. The creatures, characters, and magic all come together in fresh new ways to weave the story bit by bit until the "end" leaves you hungering for the next book. Well written, descriptive without being verbose, with new characters and creatures at every turn. Very hard to put down. A+ for this new author.
